I'm think i may end up dieting a lil bit but i'm not going fuckin wild with it like Brainwart here is doing.

I plan on doing shit like maybe having 1 less soda per day and cutting myself off after number 11. I used to do 50 pushups every night before i went to bed then another 50 when i woke up. I ended up with some pretty sweet looking shoulders and arms from it but once i started drinking all the time i stopped.

Now that i dont drink all the time i think i may work that back into my routine.

    just use this:

    http://www.hpathy.com/healthtools/calories-need.asp

all you have to do is drop 500 calories from your total daily intake, and you'll lose weight at a respectable clip.

you'd actually be surprised how many calories you can consume and maintain weight on a couch-potato's exercise level. I can essentially eat 3200 calories a day, and maintain.
I'm currently doing 1200, so you get the idea how drastic I'm doing it. Surprising, its not hard at all.... the foods you can eat are just limited.

what the fuck could possibly be harder about changing what you eat?

Its not like any diets tell you to burn your mouth, they're all about limiting what you eat.

I was actually thinking about cutting down on all the shit I take in. Namely soda because I believe that the stretches where I don't eat anything make up for the amount that I eat when I do eat.

By limited I mean no more mcdonalds, no more ice cream, no more taco bell, no more pizza every other day, no more cheesesteaks every other day, no more chinese 3X a week.

seriously, we ate out every meal. my wife would go get dunkin donuts coffee on saturday morning, instead of just making some. I was on the fast track to Wilfred Brimley, and I didn't feel good anymore.

Now I'm eating shit from a grocery store, where I actually make the shit - its healthier, and you get a little sense of fulfillment from it. plus, it saves a little bit a money, and it teaches our daughter the right way to do things.

we needed this life-style change. its more than the losing the weight.

and also what I meant by eating what I want, just more limited was that I wasn't eating awful diet foods like rice cakes and light mayo. and salads made with pure lettuce and lowfat/cal dressing... awful.

    soda is my single vice.

i KNOW it would be easier for me to give up smoking than it would be to just walk away from Mt. Dew.

i wasn't joking even a lil bit with that 11 a day estimate.

switch to diet. I swear to you, that in 3 weeks you won't know the difference. I've done taste-tasting shit on fountain drinks, and I couldn't pick out the diet one amongst them. and as far as the stuff in cans, regular soda tastes like a spoonful of sugar. I've been drinking it even when I was fat fuck. I can't imagine what I'd be like if I was drinking real soda that entire time.

start off by switching to diet soda, after a while it isn't bad.

I drink diet soda like fish drink water, if they even really drink it I don't know but you get my point.

I go through 4-6 cans of Sprite Zero a day. And It isn't that I like the tastes of soda over other drinks, I just like the carbonation and the ease of just picking up a can and not having to get a cup, get ice, pour the drink and then put it back.

The only reason I don't drink 11 a day is because I drink slow. I usually average 2-3 before switching over to water.

I drink Fresca, it tastes like regular soda but has the nutritional value of a diet soda. Zero calories, carbs, fat...just the usual 35mg of sodium.

i also decided to stop eating out for dinner.

I used to just skip breakfast altogether then eat out at lunch i'd almost always run through a drive through and get some dinner on my way home at night.
As i'm sure all of you know i live at home still with my mom and sister. Mom's out of town for the next couple weeks doing some faggoty ass company retreat and meetings so its just been me and my lil sister at the house. Between our schedules we really only even see each other a couple times a week. This past sunday she was taking out the trash and for no apparent reason suggested that we go buy groceries. Since we have a lot of food in the house now i'm actually only eating out at lunch.

goddammit i do love my soda though.
